Food Program

4C offers Family Child Care Providers the opportunity to participate in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program. This program can assist you in providing nutritious meals to the children in your care.

Child Care Bridge Payment Program

DCF is excited to announce Child Care Bridge Payments (CCBP), a limited 12-month program that runs July 2025 – June 2026.

This program is similar to Child Care Counts, with the same application, eligibility, and overall structure. Providers must continue to update their staff and child care records on a monthly basis by logging into the Child Care Provider Portal and uploading required documents. Once approved for payments, eligible providers may continue to receive ongoing monthly payments through June 2026.

The next update/application period is February 14-22, 2026.

Funds received under this program must be spent within 120 days of the date of Payment Letter for the given month.

What is 4C?

4C For Children is the Child Care Resource and Referral Agency (CCR&R) serving Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington, and Waukesha Counties in Southeastern Wisconsin. 4C offers a comprehensive range of services designed to enhance the quality of Early Care and Education. We provide training for both new and existing child care providers, assist parents in navigating available child care options, collaborate closely with the State of Wisconsin to deliver licensing and certification services, and administer a USDA Food program for child care providers. 4C is widely recognized as a leader in the field of early care and education.
